Michelle is originally from San Diego but after moving to North Carolina in the fall of 2011, she now considers herself an NC native. She is a loving wife and grandmother and considers raising her 6 children to be her greatest achievement. Michelle spent her early career working with the Department of Health and Human Services to assist families in need and volunteering at women's shelters. These experiences have shaped her into the person she is today and the skills she developed have made her into a deeply caring agent and advocate for her clients. She is passionate about supporting and uplifting her community to ensure that it continues to be a wonderful place to call home. When Michelle isn't working, you can often find her exploring Asheville and the Outer banks with her family and close friends. She is an art enthusiast, a lover of rock and old school R&B, and an avid reader of classic literature.
